Now Offering In-Person Therapy with a Therapist in Torrance CA

A Grounded Beginning

Therapist in Torrance CA offering in-person counseling for anxiety, identity, and relational patterns. Serving Torrance and the South Bay.

During the beginning of the pandemic, being able to provide therapy virtually gave me safety and flexibility in my work during a time filled with uncertainty. For my clients, it allowed access to therapy in different ways — from the comfort of their own homes or even in nature. For many, this was a gentle way to begin therapy because there is comfort in being at home while meeting a new therapist.

While virtual therapy has been an option I never thought I would venture into — and now five years later have been part of so many journeys with — I have missed the closeness that comes from being in a room with a client.

My therapy practice has evolved over the past nine years with an increased emphasis on helping clients create deeper relationships with themselves and others. As a therapist in Torrance CA, offering in-person sessions feels like an extension of the grounded, relational work I already do. When we sit in the same room, it opens the door to deeper attunement — shared silences, nervous system settling, and exploring what comfort and safety can look like in person with others.

The Update: In-Person Therapy in Torrance, CA

After five years of providing virtual therapy only as an anxiety therapist in Torrance CA, I will be expanding in-person services to Torrance beginning in March. Sessions will be available one day per week with limited availability. Virtual therapy across California will continue and is not changing.

I wanted to offer two different ways to access therapy — for those who value the flexibility of virtual sessions and for those who are curious about what it would be like to see a therapist in person in Torrance. We are living in a time where connection feels vital, and I want to incorporate that into my practice in a thoughtful way.

Therapy is not one size fits all. Offering different formats honors that. If you have felt tired of online sessions and are ready to return to more traditional in-person therapy, this may be an option for you.

Who In-Person Counseling in Torrance Might Be For

Counseling in Torrance for Anxiety, Identity, and Relational Work

I specialize in working with anxious adults — especially first-generation, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ adults who have spent much of their lives needing to hold it together. Clients often come to work with me when they begin noticing that the pressure and expectations they grew up around are taking an emotional toll. When it begins to feel exhausting to show up in relationships the way they once did. When navigating daily life no longer feels as manageable as it used to.

This can happen when adults grow up not knowing what to do with their emotions as they arise in personal and professional relationships.

Counseling in Torrance can offer a contained, private space outside of your home environment. If you have been looking for in-person services with an added layer of privacy or have been experiencing telehealth fatigue, this may be an option to explore. For those seeking nervous system-focused therapy to better understand themselves and build a stronger bridge between body and mind, in-person sessions can offer that depth. Overall, the goal is to lessen feelings of confusion, resentment, and overwhelm.

Whether In-Person or Virtual

The Work Remains The Same

Whether we meet in person in Torrance or virtually anywhere in California, the heart of the work does not change. My approach remains rooted in helping you understand the patterns you carry, the emotions that feel hard to hold, and the ways your nervous system has learned to protect you.

For many first-generation, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ adults, therapy can be one of the first places where you don’t have to perform strength or hold everything together. It becomes a space to slow down. To notice. To question the expectations you’ve internalized. To build a relationship with yourself that feels less reactive and more intentional.

In-person therapy in Torrance simply offers another way to access that work — another layer of attunement, privacy, and presence. Virtual therapy continues to offer flexibility and consistency for those who need it.

If you’re looking for a therapist in Torrance CA who understands the layered pressures of identity, family, and responsibility, you’re welcome to schedule a consultation. We can talk through what you’re navigating and determine whether working together feels like the right next step.

You deserve support that honors who you are, where you come from, and who you’re becoming.
